Beast Diaries: In the Studio (July 2025)
It’s hot. It's sticky. But I wouldn’t know – I’ve been chilling in the studio!
Yep, the air con has been on, and the tones have been flowing. The drum busses have been glued, and the horns have been blowing.
Okay, enough rhymes. I have done them enough times…
No really, that’s it now.
July has been exciting, with two albums in progress right now, and more sessions with some very cool local acts (and not so local) are on the horizon… I’m sure we’ll share more about those in the next one of these I do.
The Moon Collective
The Moon Collective is gearing up for the release of their next single, Run for Cover, hot on the heels of their latest release, It Ain’t Easy. The album is coming along really nicely, and it’s still hard to pick a favourite. So many moments, so many styles, so many good memories. Check out It Ain’t Easy 👇

The single’s off somewhere in Berlin being mastered as I type this, and will be out for all of you to hear soon.

Top Secret Project…
This is going to be a big one for us. It’s been months of work, but jeez, the results so far are just blowing everyone involved away. Fair to say, this is the biggest and best work we’ve done. Ever.
From pre-production to mix, the whole process has been refined to an art.
Sounds at the source were perfect, the performances have been next-level, and the songs are hitting with emotion and power.
But it’s going slowly. Not that I mind – it’s a pleasure to work on.
I promise to reveal more as soon as I can…
